I’m a graduate in Business Studies and have worked within the recruitment industry for the last 25 years. In my previous experience, I was European Managing Director and Senior VP for a large international recruitment consultancy. Under my stewardship the European business grew from £6M to £65M revenues. As European MD I also headed up the various recruitment divisions within Europe including the award winning Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business, as well as the systems house. Prior to this I worked within the IT industry and I was also an officer in the British Special Forces.
Since then I am the joint owner of E-Resourcing Ltd, a recruitment services company. E-Resourcing successfully delivers recruitment services backed by professionals with an average of 15 years industry experience. The company combines traditional ‘best in class’ recruitment practices with state-of-the-art web and database search skills.
In addition to my other roles, I’m am a Non Executive Director of Cara Technology and carry out pro bono work interviewing army officers leaving the service as well as helping a local college, advising on the content of its IT and Accounting Foundation Degree course and guiding students on their options for an IT career. In my spare time I enjoy watching the rugby and playing for the House of Lords team.
